FastCAT season is fast approaching, which means we'll be on the road before you know it for our first event: The Palo Duro Canyon Paw Stomp FastCATs with the Panhandle Kennel Club of Texas. Last year this was one of the first events that all of the boys got to come along, so it was a lot of fun getting to run Arbus and do some fun exploring around Amarillo. Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces AND offering the option of start-line photos this year as well!

Arb was still just a little bit too young to run officially last year (his photos are from a fun run we snuck in!), so it will be cool to clock some official times at this track for him. Alfie will continue to enjoy his FastCAT retirement, haha!

Last year I had to visit Cadillac Ranch even though I was ready for it to be your typical tourist trap -- wasn't quite ready for the spray paint to literally be slumping off of the cars, though! It was still a very cool little piece of Americana and we had a good time getting a couple snaps of the boys before we took off.

This year, I want to be better about using my camera outside of events to document our trips a little better. The Z8 is ALMOST a manageable size if I keep a small enough lens on it, and I never regret getting home and having cute candids from our trips. Plus, the AirBNB we booked this year is SUPER cute and I imagine we'll have lots of cute photo ops.

Speaking of photo ops, I am beyond excited to be offering some mini sessions in the Palo Duro Canyon area on Saturday after the trial is over -- you can book some time here and as always for event minis, don't stress on selecting a perfect time too much; we will work out fine details once your session is booked!

I think I'm going to be able to scout some of my most gorgeous mini locations EVER at this event, so do not wait on booking your time. I will only have availability on Saturday because we will be hitting the road right after the runs on Sunday. It's going to be a brief week at home before we're back on the road AGAIN for the Running of the Shamrocks in Vinita! I'll be offering minis there, too, but I'm not sure I'll be able to secure any gorgeous canyon views!
